Join us as we cover:
Day 1 Thursday Evening: Build safety, introductions and reduce anxiety. How our PAST SHOWS UP IN THE PRESENT in this lecture. Participants participate in the story of a couple who struggle with intimacy. The story is a picture of where the couple came from and a few specific events in each person’s story that was traumatic. By showing the map/timeline, the community sees how an unresolved event from the PAST can drive CURRENT behavior.
Day 2 Friday Morning Lecture: Excess Baggage. In this lecture we talk about Maslow’s hierarchy of needs for an individual and what that concept looks like in a hierarchy for couple-ship. Includes a demonstration of co-dependency using the relationship triangle, pillow and hula hoops.
Day 3 Saturday Morning Lecture: Managing conflict and working up the Hierarchy: Teaching Karpman’s Triangle and Parent Adult Child.
Heal from codependency and reclaim your inner self. Walk away with a deep connection and a better understanding of what recovery looks like. Develop a greater capacity for hope, honesty, and love.
